Okay so here I am about to go on a rant. Disclaimer this is the only time you will ever hear my position on this issue.
I have always reserved my opinion on gay marriage because I figure it is just that my opinion. However, I want to say first of all SHAME on California. Now in Cali’s defense marriage is not a state issue and should have never been. You see the fact of the matter is, its a human rights issue. However the govt wants us to have a law apparently, so that makes it a supreme court issue. Good luck with those idiots. They have no idea it’s their issue. Apparently they are the ones deflecting it to the states. Well let me tell you why it is a national issue. You see a heterosexual couple can marry in California and move to lets say move to Iowa and there marriage is recognized. However a same-sex couple married in California and moves to Iowa there marriage is not. Are you kidding me? I know I am not the first one to see plain and simple this is a supreme court, national attention issue.
